The End.
Paige here. I’m going to add some thoughts to what David told you guys about.. Just because I can. :)
The concert at Falling Whistles truly was a wonderful night. As David mentioned, everyone was incredible captivated by David’s music and that was surprising to see. But wonderful.
On top of that, we met (and reunited with) some incredible people. Of course all the boys I know from...
Sep 22-25
Wenatchee, WA is the most unsuspecting town for me (David). This small country city has been a favorite stop of mine for the past year. I’ve met some cool folks who have been super supportive of my work and have been so welcoming every time I’ve come by to hang. Tuesday of last week was no exception. A good buddy, Rich Haney, booked me at this local coffee shop, Caffe Mela. I was blown...

Saturday Sep 19:
After a much needed night of rest, we hit the road once again. The trek was long, as we made it a point to go through the Redwood National Forest, but we passed the time with come classic tunes from Billy Joel (my absolute favorite), Eric Clapton, the Beatles, etc. We barely made it in time to see the forest before the sun went down (there was a TON of traffic) but it was well...
Sep 17-18.
The northwest is uncharted territory for me (David). I’m still trying to figure out where to begin with venues as well as with people. Considering though that I’m still learning I’ve been fortunate with the few gigs I have had. This past Thursday in San Francisco was no exception.
My friend Rachel booked me at Madrone Art Lounge and we had a fantastic evening. This is a great...

Tuesday Sep 15:
Tuesday we woke up from some beachside sleeping and checked out the campground as well as the beach. The campground is called Refugio.. we highly recommend it… Did we mention it was right by the beach? So beautiful.
Get ready kids.. this next story is definitely one of the biggest FAILS on this trip. One of my (Paige) stops on tour with IC was Hawaii.. I know, rough route,...
Sep 11-13 (yea.. we know we're a little behind)
So in our last actual update, David filled you in on Sep 9-10. Which we all know was forever ago. I’m going to start filling you in on the rest but don’t worry.. it will come in waves. I don’t want to overwhelm you or anything..
Friday Sep 11:
We were still in San Diego at this point, hanging out with Andrea. We got to see the new Invisible Children office which was cool/weird...
Sorry we’ve been neglecting you tumblr. We promise it’s only because we’re having lots of fun, playing music and taking photos.
LA has been good to us but it’s time to head up the coast. Ojai here we come!
Jukebox
I’ve started this new series called “Jukebox”. Pay attention because it might get a little tricky.

Stay Classy San Diego
Classy indeed. I love this town.
We rolled into San Diego aka A Whale’s Vagina yesterday afternoon for Paige’s 3rd Mini Photo Session. We met Veronica in Ocean Beach, home of the famous Acai Bowl, at 3:00pm and hung with her for half an hour. She was a cool chick. Great style and fantastic hair. I’m excited to see these for sure.
Oh snap! I totally forgot to mention that my...
Finally, The West Coast
Let me start by saying this was by far the easiest most relaxed drive I’ve ever had coming out to the west coast. Typically it’s either a mad rush with trying to make a show or a very stressful crawl not knowing if I’ll have enough money to cross the desert. This trip however was super chill with just enough stops along the way to enjoy the scenery while still making good time.

Sunday, Sep 6:
I left us off in El Paso, TX. After a much needed night of rest, we rolled out of bed pretty late. David went for a run and I managed to convince myself to do some yoga (he’s much more disciplined than I am). Then we may or may not have taken a nap. Once we rolled out of bed for the second time, we decided we needed to get out and actually see El Paso. We ended up driving...
Finally.. A Real Update (Sep 3-5).
Hey kids.
Sorry we’ve been out of pocket lately. Internet has been shady. I’m going to break these updates a bit so you’re not completely overwhelmed. Here I go.
Thursday Sep 3:
We headed out from Austin toward Abilene. I (Paige) had never driven that route and was actually pretty impressed. It’s way better than the drive to Dallas, anyway. That night David played a show...
Almost there!
We’ve been driving since 5 this morning. Taking our time, stopping at overlooks, eating breakfast at a local diner, braving walmart to buy tonights dinner. But we’re just about an hour away from the Grand canyon. It will be each of our second time to be there and our first time together. Wish us luck.
More tomorrow.

We made it to el paso!!
today, we leave.
hello friends, family and strangers.
today, folktography officially kicks off.
i could not be MORE excited.
it seems like forever ago i pitched the idea to david… “you know how i went on a tour [with invisible children] on the west coast? and then you did a solo tour out on the west coast? and those experiences were some of the best in each of our individual lives? i think we should...
